Site 34 has been the central site of the Central Timna Valley Project and has been excavated between 2012 and 2023 in more seasons than any other site in Timna. The site is located on a sandstone plateau (ca. 30,000 sqm) surrounded by sheer cliffs averaging 20 m high.
